Lunch post 3 part 1

Today was over all good, I was coughing too much at work so I got sent home (I’m not complaining) and for my lunch I went to an art class (water color) where we worked of the same basic picture but made it our own (there were four of us)… The reason this lunch post is in two parts is because I only have pictures of two of the paintings, I’m waiting on a friend to send the other pictures to me so I’ll post them when I get them. It  took two classes to finish, hope you like.

This one is done by my friend Carlee! Isn’t it fantastic be sure and check out more of her art at her blog 😀 Linked below. She used pen and ink, and water color…

  1. Wow! Those are great art pieces. I love what you did. I’ve always wondered what it feels like in your hands to be able to draw or paint like that.Like, do an artist’s hands almost have a life of their own that they know how to move a paintbrush or pencil and colours in a way that creates such beauty while everyone elses hands are simply tools.

    • Thank you so much, what an amazing comment! Honestly? For me its an effort to paint, drawing is different, easier?, I guess, but I think for some people its like that, they just can do it and its amazing every time, But I’ve always liked the pictures that had sweat and tears painted in there with them… I suppose what I’m trying to say is that its different for everyone… 🙂

  4. Hi! 🙂 Thanks for linking these beautiful paintings to me! We have a small field up the road where local travelers keep their Horses. But because they move around, the horses do too. Well, I made friends (again – I always do) with the recent horses and one of them was a white one – she was so lovely and friendly…. but sadly she moved on last week and I do miss her. So seeing yours and your friends’ paintings is a real treat! 🙂 Horses are clever and beautiful animals and you both have done them huge justice! Well done and Thank You 🙂
